In the second of our Getting to know Ollie & Darsh series we’re going to meet another of our Clinical Assistants team and member of the Ollie & Darsh family, Jill Fogg.

Jill has been a fully qualified dental nurse for five years, having worked at two previous private practices on the Wirral and in Daresbury. Jill joined us two years ago plays a vital role in our Clinical Assistant team.

Jill wanted to further her career and our excellent reputation across Liverpool and the greater Merseyside region convinced her that Ollie & Darsh was the perfect place in which to do this. It was a professional goal of hers to come and work alongside the team and as soon as a job opportunity became available she applied immediately.

Jill commented that, since joining our team, it is the clinic’s commitment to outstanding customer service that really sets us apart. From the very beginning to the completion of treatments, every client has a bespoke treatment plan and they are always supported by the friendly and attentive team here.

“No other practice I’ve worked in has such a unique way of helping patients completely relax when they come to the dentist.”

Outside of her work here at Ollie & Darsh, Jill has recently been crowned Miss Wirral Galaxy for 2014/15, as part of the national network of Galaxy Pageants.

Competing from the age of 18, Jill entered her first pageant as a confidence boost after seeing a girl local to her from Wallasey who had won a pageant.

“I wanted to be a part of that and experience the increased confidence that came from competing. I’m just a normal girl that wanted to be part of something special.”

Jill feels beauty pageants have an unfairly poor reputation as unfriendly and competitive, when in fact, she has had the chance to meet all kinds of women from across the country. She has made friends with a variety of people, all thanks to the Galaxy pageant experience.

Now that she has been crowned Miss Wirral Galaxy, Jill has the opportunity to raise money for charities, including Liverpool Unites, British Heart Foundation and the Red Cross, as well as being able to attend functions and events representingGalaxy Pageants.

Ollie & Darsh act as Jill’s official sponsor, which means that she represents the Ollie & Darsh family when she’s acting as Miss Wirral Galaxy and we couldn’t be prouder! Well done, Jill!
