9 Things We’ve Learnt in the Last 9 Years

It’s our birthday this weekend! On the 5th November 2008 we first opened the doors to Ollie & Darsh. Daz (Ollie) and Sudarsh (Darsh) set up the practice in Dale Street with the aim of providing a truly unique dental experience with the very highest clinical standards.

Suzy has been with us from the start steering the ship and allowing us to do the brilliant dental work that we love. We’ve been honoured to share the journey with many wonderful team members.

We’ve been reflecting on all the things we’ve learnt over the last 9 years:

1.       Keep evolving
Our style is unique, but nothing should stand still. We have had a recent evolution with our branding including a new website.

2.       Keep it fresh
We’ve recently updated the practice with new flooring, furniture and décor to maintain our luxurious and relaxing environment. Did you know we have overhead televisions and noise cancelling headphones for you while you’re in the chair?

3.       Expand when you can
We’ve added 2 new surgeries this year to keep up with the demand of clients. This enables us to see more people and offer a wider range of treatment.

4.       Have the latest technology
We’ve invested in the latest clinical technology to offer amazing results, from hygiene to teeth whitening.

5.       Customer service is king
We know that it’s important to have systems and processes to be able to deal with your enquiry as quickly and as efficiently as possible. That’s why we’ve recently updated our systems to be even better.

6.       Tip Top Skills
We our train staff in the latest skills; Ollie is currently a Clinical Instructor for Invisalign and has also been for Six Month Smiles. If necessary we employ staff to fill a skill set, whether that’s hygienists that can Irish dance or dentists that can heal migraines…

7.       Our clients are awesome
We couldn’t do it without you… your trust, your praise and your interaction on social media. It all makes it worthwhile.

8.       It’s all about relationships
Listening to you and what you want to achieve is key. We’ve also learnt that it’s an ongoing relationship with you. To maintain your smile and prevent restorative dental work caused by decay.

9.       Keep learning
We don’t assume we know everything and we will keep learning, improving, training and investing to stay at the top of our game.

Thank you for a great 9 years, so far. Enjoy the fireworks on Sunday and think of us when you see a particularly sparkly one!
