Invisalign Teen®

A smile that grows as you do!

Here at Ollie & Darsh, we know life is tough enough for teenagers without the added worry of dental problems and visible braces, which is why we offer the Invisalign Teen® system.

The Difference

Like Invisalign®, the Invisalign Teen® system will straighten your teeth using a series of custom-made clear aligners, which are comfortable and practically invisible. Invisalign Teen® is the same as the adult product, but with a handful of key differences to the aligners:

the Blue dot

Teen aligners feature a blue dot indicator to allow you and your dentist to gauge approximately how long you have worn the aligners for and help assess the progress of your treatment. The dot is designed to fade to clear over a two-week period, if you wear your aligners properly.

For a Developing Mouth

They allow for the fact that your mouth is still developing and that your permanent teeth are still growing.

The teen package also includes six replacement aligners, to reduce the worry of losing them.

Fit your lifestyle

The Invisalign Teen® system is designed to fit into your busy lifestyle. Because the clear braces are custom-fit and removable, you can snap them on to your teeth quickly and easily, as well as remove them when you need to. This means you can eat and drink what you like, participate in the sports you love, play wind instruments and maintain your usual dental hygiene routine, brushing and flossing as normal.

Brand new smile

The state-of-the-art system also reduces the chance of irritated mouth and gums; there are no emergency visits for broken bands and brackets like with traditional braces; and in approximately 18 months (depending on your case) you’ll have a brand new smile!

What our clients say ...

Ollie & Darsh have been amazing I would recommend to anybody to go here if wanting any dental work doing! I had wanted a Hollywood smile for so long but could never afford it, Suzy helped me choose the perfect brace - Invisalign teen. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I have had the best service and treatment from this place, I am actually sad my treatment is over. Ollie has just been a star :D

The process is very easy - you’ll simply meet with an Invisalign Teen® expert at our clinic for a free consultation to find out if the treatment is for you.

If you decide it is right for you, we’ll take pictures and impressions of your teeth and digitise them. Using high-end technology, we’ll precisely plan your tooth movements from the beginning to the end of your treatment, so we can fix your orthodontic issues. Based on this treatment plan, bespoke aligners will be made for you - the number of aligners varies, depending on your individual needs.

You’ll need to wear your aligners for about 20 to 22 hours every day, except to eat, brush and floss. It’s ok to take them out for a special event once in a while too.  Approximately every two weeks, you'll swap your old aligners for new ones, so they can gently and continuously move your teeth until they are in their final prescribed position - providing you with the smile you’ve always wanted.

Are the aligners really invisible?

They are made from clear plastic, so they are virtually invisible. Even when very close, most people will not notice you are straightening your teeth – unless you choose to tell them?

How long does the Invisalign® treatment take?

The total duration of Invisalign® aligners is dependant on each individual and the complexity of the treatment. Generally the time frame is comparable to that of traditional braces and can last between nine and 18 months. During your consultation, your Invisalign® clinician can provide you with more detailed information.

Will the aligners affect speech?

The vast majority of clients report no effect on speech. However, as with traditional orthodontic appliances, there is an initial adjustment period associated with having something new in the mouth.
